The Potter
Hi.
I’m Charisse, and I make pottery—entirely by hand, mostly without a plan, and always with a drink that’s probably gone cold by the time I remember it. My pieces aren’t about perfection; they’re about character, like a good road trip where you get lost but find the best little café along the way.
When I’m not covered in clay, I’m probably hiking up a mountain, watching underrated, forgotten movies, daydreaming about the 80s and 90s, or questioning why road trips aren’t a full-time career. I have a soft spot for handwritten notes, cloudy days, ramen, castles, and Johnny Depp in just about anything. I’m also a book sniffer (yes, it’s a thing) and someone who unwinds by watching true crime documentaries—because nothing says relaxation like a deep dive into unsolved mysteries. Most of all, I love spending time with my boys, whether we’re off on an adventure or just enjoying the simple moments together.
Somehow, all of that sneaks into my work.
If you like things that are handmade, a little nostalgic, and not trying too hard, you might just find something here you like. Or at least, something to hold your coffee while you stare into the void.
Thank you for being here. Till the next drop! xx
